| vacation to Riviera Maya, Mexico

Just got back two days ago from a 6 day vacation with a bunch of my friends to the resort Occidental Flamenco Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We all enjoyed the beauty of the resort and drank many, many. mnay CHI CHI's. In one pool there was a bar you swam up to,, sat on the stool while still in the water, ordered your Chi Chi and either sat there or took it back out in the pool with you. While swimming in the clear very blue water of the Carribbean Sea, the bar was on the beach, right there. Just like on a cruise ship, food was served buffet style, 24 - 7, plus many resturant around that were also part of your package. One evening we went into Playa del Carmen and enjoyed bargaining with the vendors and enjoyed a few world famous bars. The rooms were huge and the shower stale you could have held a part of 10 in it... Everyday they re-stocked the refrig. with cold beer and sodas for you. If you wanted anything else, you just asked. One thing that 11 of us did, was to swin with the dolphins. That was so cool. they came up and kissed us, let us pet them, swam all around us. They were amazing. We all chipped in 20 dollars and brought one cd with 37 pages of pictures, approx. 200 picutes and Connie our one friend is going to make a cd for the 11 of us off the one we purchased. It would have costed us 15 dollars for one print... This way we can make as many as we want off the cd and it only cost us the little bit of money. My one friend surprised me by buying the dvd of the whole thing for me as a gift. It was so sweet and will be treasured.
In August I'm going on another trip for 10 days with friends and family. We are heading to Gaitlandburg and Pigeon Forge, TN. We are renting a huge log cabin at the base of the Smoky Mts, just down he road from Dolly World. There is nothing between our log house and the mountains. In the cabin there's a pool table, air hockey and on the deck is a hot tube and a pool in the complex. We are ordering tickets now for many shows and events in the areas while we're there.
Next year the group I went to Mexico with, is planning a 7 day cruise. We are not sure as to where yet, we'll all putting in where we would like to go,, then we'll all decide as a group. If its as much fun as we had in Mexico,,I can't wait.
The difference between the cruise and the trip we just took is ,, in mexico.. all drinks were included.  On the cruise,, we'll have to pay for each drink. Let me tell you.... we would have had to take out a loan to pay for all the drinks our crowd drank if we had to pay the bar tab in Mexico. hahahaha,,,,,
Life is to short, to valuable to sit around just watching TV (especially if you're in the middle of a movie and someone comes in, picks up the remote and changes the channel on you, had it happen twice in one weekend to me) or going shopping. Let the good times roll, enjoy and live. Thats how my life is going to be for now on.. If you can't cut it by having fun.... then I have to move on.... there's to much to do in life....when I'm dead, 6 ft under,,,,, then I'll lie there and not move... but till then.... fun is the game.
