2008 Relationships-Serious/ Serious Playing Games?

Why is it so hard to find a genuine person for a monogamous relationship these days? Could it be because the opposite type of relationship is much more attractive? And if so, please explain. In 2008, with disease so prevalent, it should be in the best interest for everyone to be seeking monogamy. Maybe I am way off base with this or just old school. Are most people serious about obtaining/maintaining a relationship or seriously playing games?
Can I get some input?

mound103	6/11/2008 6:05:38 PM first we have to be real with ourselves. then we can be real with someone else. we all can be mono and still get some type of disease. life is to be enjoyed to the best of your ability. i found that most people who are bent on staying squeeky clean are more prone to disease then the partly exposed people. yet the strane still gets stronger so it will not be tricked. just staying mono does not gaurantee no disease, nor does it give the best solution to our problems. being aware, building ones immune system up to its optimum performance. this keeps us able to with stand most of what befalls us.
lighterpls	6/22/2008 10:58:18 AM I respect your opinion.I'm still looking 4 a monogamous relationship 4 reasons other than potential disease control.I am old school n enjoy the companionship of a single mate n all of its benefits.I want a partner;someone 2 love,care for; go 2 the movies with,attend with,2 cook dinners 4,make breakfast in bed 4; 2 share quality time with outside of the bedroom.Limiting my sexual partners 2 one is a conscious decision that I make because I feel that it will enhance my life in so many ways.Is that so bad?Are there not others who share my resolve who are seeking a mate 4 the same reasons?Again,why is it so hard 2 find a genuine person 4 a monogamous relationship?
