Would you contact a person of the same gender on a dating site (assuming you are not LGBT)? Do you get a response? I want all responses Guys and Girls.

My experiment is not going ladies. I think some of the guys think I am trying to pick them up for some Brokeback action, but seriously though I just trying to make some male friends too. Ladies help me out

Hello Sam, I taking some time to read your profile and a few of the questions in the blog. I find your first question interesting and somewhat surprising. I have never been contacted nor have I contacted the same sex on any of the dating sites. Yes, I enjoy communicating with people from diverse backgrounds. However, the dating sites for me is just that. Interacting and possibly meeting the opposite sex is my goal.

Sam I searched this site trying to make female friends and this is what I found. When you search woman looking for women or man searching for men,it gives you LGBT profiles. I didn't figure this out until I wrote one (never got a response) and then started reading more and more of the profiles. But...thanks to you, I've made a friend with the fabulous rubberbiscut! And am looking forward to linking up with another one of your buddies.
