Not my ‘Everything’,
You’re just you...
You’re not my ‘Wife’,
Not my ‘Forever Thing’
But, you’ll do...
If you think that we might
Help ‘Each Other’ through,
We’ll share one night,
We’ll make it right;
Then, maybe, too...
I’m not your ‘Love’,
Not your ‘Devotion’,
I’m just me...
Not ‘From Above’,
Not your ‘Whole Ocean’,
At best, a sea...
Although ours is not
A common ‘Destiny’,
We’ll share one night,
We’ll make it right;
Then, maybe, three...
You’re not my ‘Wealth’,
I’m not your ‘Treasure’,
We’re both just poor...
We’ll toast our health,
We’ll drink our pleasure,
Hearts won’t get tore...
While our ships lie on the harbor,
We’ll share the shore...
