| Summer of 08.....is it here yet?

This past week it's seemed as if it is. Which makes me want to get outdoors more and more.......I spent all day Sunday working in the garden. Flip flops, shorts and a bikini top. And LOTS of water! But hell, a fire at night despite the heat of the day. I love summer nights when it's midnight and you are still sitting outside, enjoying the night without the need to wear much clothing. Living in a bathing suit all day is so comfortable (in the right weather!).
Trying to rethink my approach to this whole dating scene........You try to keep things light and people get upset you aren't online 24/7. Be lucky enough to find someone and actually begin to explore each other.....only to find out it doesn't work.
That's a part of life's experiences, of course. But when people you care about disappear, pretty much, with no words.....it's so sad to think they think so little of themselves. Not the one for them? Totally understandable. But say it. You aren't the one for me? Please, understand and move along. We will all find someone to explore life with, if we are meant to. So, I am backing off on the search.....enjoying my summer and life to the fullest. Making sure to do those things I enjoy, all the while knowing someday he may come along and share those experiences.
