| THE BIG COST!!

This is a story
of a couple in love
They stood by each other
when push came to shove
They spent most of
their time together
They thought their love
would last forever
But something happened
their feelings changed
It felt different
and very strange
She felt like she was
being used as a toy
She felt so used and
abused by this boy
She thought of the nights
she didn't do a thing
But stay at home and wait
for the phone to ring
She could not deal
with the pain anymore
And she certainly wasn't
his toy, that's for sure
She had a couple of drinks
got in her car & drove off
She did not know
how big the cost
She went around one curve
but missed another & went straight
She did not know this
would seal her fate.
He looked at her casket
so terribly cold
He would never again
have her to hold
He sat there thinking
how to overcome this fear
He definitely shed more
than a single tear
He got thinking and
momentarily went insane
He definitely could not
deal with the pain
He drank a few shots of liquor
and got in the car
But this story isn't over
he didn't get very far
He went around one curve
but missed another
Needless to say
he went no further
Just as the wind
started to blow
They lowered his casket
into the snow
This is a story
of love so it's said
Don't fall in love
one or both of you
Could end up dead.
