| I got a visit from the FBI today.

When he called to ask if they could come talk to me I asked him what it was about and he said he didn't want to talk about it over the phone. So many things raced through my mind. Was it about the background check for my commission? Was it about my new job in the test lab? Could it be her from 25 years ago finally come looking for me? (yeah, like that was it.) It turned out that they actually wanted to talk to my daughter. It seems somebody at the karate studio my kids used to go to has been exchanging child porn online. When they raided and siezed the electronics they found text messages to my baby girl from months ago but then everything from then to now deleted. So they came and talked to her for almost two hours. No thank goodness, niether of my kids were victims, which is really good because I'm not prepared for prison and had anyone done anything inappropriate to one of my children I would have to hurt them very badly. I don't understand the perverts that get off on looking at children. I have a hard time looking at anyone under 30 without thinking about how young they are. And people think I'm being too protective by not allowing them to have a MySpace page. I know I can't watch over them forever, but I can watch over them now.
