| The big move.....67 days to go....

So last night I got a posterboard and made a chart with the dates from yesterday to the day I move. Each day the kids will mark off a day so they can visually tell how long it is until we move. Yes, I know I am starting early, but I don't want to rush at the last minute. I went on a "box raid" at the outlet mall yesterday after work and picked up some nice size boxes to use for packing. This is what I did last year when I moved to my present location. I ended up with boxes of every shape and size. I think I ended up getting 200 boxes, just to be on the safe side. I wasn't sure how many I would need. I will not be getting 200 boxes again because I didn't use that many last time...it just felt like it. lol I hope this is my last move for a few years. I am excited to be moving to the condo. The kids are excited. I have such high hopes in living there. I hope it to be everything my present apartment is not. I want to be happy and I want the kids to be happy. I want it to feel like a home and not just someplace I am renting. I've never felt at home in my present apartment. I only have one picture up on the wall. I never was into decorating where I am living, but I am getting SO many ideas of how I want to decorate the new place. Now whether or not I do it will not depend on the wanting, but on the finances. lol I have purchased a few things for the new place. I didn't want to wait until moving in to do that because these were limited items and my luck, they would have been sold out after the move.
I did contact the movers and have the date scheduled. It is going to cost alot to move so I'm not excited about that, but I can't physically move heavy items. The lady I spoke with to schedule the move is moving to the same place as me! We discussed the condo and everything. What a coincidence!!!
I hope to get alot accomplished this weekend. I will only leave out that we absolutely need. The countdown begins......
