| The color blues

The color blues
Colors fall from summer’s bough
Yellow fades into Autumn Sky’s
Never bending seldom vow
each one Spirals summers ties.
From top to bottom gently floats
but not before the colors change.
First freeze came frost that coats
some land in puddles of rain.
Time will show the blanket of white
pillars stand now barren and tall
dawn light less than bismuth-moon white
roots stand fast until next fall.
