| I may need a hurricane refuge, got crash space?

For Katrina, I drove a friend and her nonagenarian mother to her cousin’s home in Jackson, MS... and the storm followed us there! After 5 days, we had stressed them out a bit, and I drove them to another cousin’s house in Austin. I found great accommodations at the home of another folk dancer. But that friend has moved on. Austin is a great place for dancers. I fell in love with ALL the generous folks who simply could not do enough for the refugees!
I have an air mattress. But being a webmaster, I will need wireless access for my laptop for a few hours now and then. This could be at your local coffee shop.
I'm a low-maintenance guest, ready to provide delightful company, or disappear into the depths of Wikipedia research (I’m constantly improving on my historical tours) or MS FrontPage (serving my web clients) for hours at a time. I would be pleased to create YOUR web site, if you need one...
