One problem with this website is that it leaves a whole category of workers stuck in the "Other" It has a category called State Workers, but leaves out local and Federal employees. I am an Air Quality Inspector (Dust Compliance)for Maricopa County Air Quality Department. My degree is in Environmental Studies, which evaluates the interaction between human activities and how they impact and are impacted by the Natural Environment and the effects on human health and ecological conditions. I make an average income, which won't by me a big car or fancy house, but it won't leave me needing food stamps either. I could make more money working in the private sector, but I didn't get my degree with the intention of helping companies explain away their pollution or find loopholes to allow them to get away with it. I feel I have a positive impact on the quality of life here in Maricopa County and that makes me feel inspired by what I do and I find it interesting. Life is too short to do work you hate or are bored by. I also wouldn't want to do something I felt morally questionable. Money is required in this life, but it is not a measurement of your value as a person. It is merely a tool to get the material things you need to live. I hope this entry has been valuable to ladies seeking to understand me and what i stand for.
