Intro. to Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

I guess you could call me a "meat and potatos" girl, with a little hot sauce thrown in for flavor. I see a lot of men out there dipping their toes in the water and saying "Looking for friends". I'm right there with you, guys. We've all been hurt, so there is no rush to be heavily involved.

More than anything else, I guess what I'm looking for is someone with a sense of humor. I'm an insufferable goofball: the class clown can't carry a torch compared to me. I love a man who can, above all else, make me laugh. And not just clever witticisms, either. Hardcore, side-grabbing guffaws.

As I mentioned, I'm family-oriented. I love my family fiercely. I'm the middle child with two brothers, and I'm completely into the whole camping-on-weekends, bowling on Wednesdays, hot dogs and a cold beer at the Sounds games kind-of gal. Mmmmm, beer.

(*side note: I AM a girly girl, though, and do occaisionally have "girl days" with my friends.)

I love to cook and try new recipes. I especially love cooking "from the ground up" with fresh materials. As soon as I can get into a home, I fully intend on having a small garden, as well as an English garden.

I am a traveler (hence the profile name), and incredibly independent, so I suppose I'm looking for those qualities as well. I love to go, do and be involved.

I'm no wall flower, so shy guys may want to steer clear.

Everyone has their flaws, and willingness to work those through is a major "must have" for me.

Sports are great, as long as it is live (can't sit still with tv sports)or in a Sports Bar. My FAAAAAVORITE sports to watch are baseball and football. I simply don't know much about other sports. I have started playing volleyball at Centennial Park in Nashville and LOVE it.

I'm looking to buy a home right now, so that keeps me busy.

I'm a dog lover (cats are ok, too... to feed my dogs.. j/k). I love most animals, but dogs tend to be my pick. Their companionship is unmatched in the animal world.
