It's funny how things happen and how it seems that people are never satisfied with their lives. I guess that there is nothing wrong with striving for improvement, but life is to short to waste it by never
being happy with what you have.
I am a happy, attractive, grounded person. While I enjoy men and their company, I have found that I am a pretty self-sufficient woman.
I am now single after 21 years of what I consider a pretty good marriage.
I have realized that I truly do not understand why people waste their time in getting married at all, that is unless they plan on having kids.
It seems to be so natural and easy for affairs to take place.... Proving my point that people are never satisfied. There will always be someone better looking, younger, richer, smarter, or at the very least just plain different.
People are sexual beings with a natural instinct to be attracted to each other so why mess it up with marriage? Vows mean nothing anymore.
I am not bitter although it may seem that I am. I am just glad that I can be a happy person with self-respect.
One day I may bump into a man that really rocks my world. That would be nice. I just hope he can understand that marriage is no longer a word that is in my vocabulary.
