| What is a "Wink" ??

I am definitely new around here...have not gotten into the forum chats. Looked at a couple profiles and wanted to find out how to do what I had to do, and to check out what "wink" was....To my surprise, it didn't do anything...I thought. It didn't tell me what it was or what to do with it. So, did I send a wink to someone without realizing what I was doing???!
Oooops!
