| lil black dress

i had to dig my lil black dress out of the closet today and say goodbye to a dear friend from high school.
my friend whom we will call "bubba" was only thirty six and preceded in death by his sister leaving his mother behind. i am a mother and can't even comprehend my children leaving me behind. so sad am i!
life is funny at times. ya see when i got to the church it was almost full and the seating was limited. so i scanned the room and found a place with a harmless looking guy sitting on one end of the bench. ok so i sit down and he sits and i look over and *oh sh*t, the guy is my high school sweetheart! how funny is that? i haven't seen this guy in over 20 years. tehe, he's bald on top.. *snicker
if i didn't know better i would think that bubba planned it that way..he would have thought that was funny.. God rest his soul!
