i think the new president has some good ideas and some that are questionable.... but what the heck... it can't get a whole lot worse.... and this new President, Congress and Senate has its job cut out for itself.... the american people need to learn to live within their means and not spend every dollar they have plus one.... we forgot how to save.... we have to "keep up with the Jones's" .... what the heck for???? Do you know all your neighbors? I don't.. DO sit on the porch and relax after a day at work??? Oh yeah... who has a porch anymore.? does/did your kid have a paer route, mow lawns,babysit, scoop walks, have a lemon-aid stand. Or do anything to earn some money for that really cool thing they saw at the five and dime....? or do they just hold out their hand and put on that face you can't say "no" to. Probably got that one right.. that is what we are doing in government today.... handing out money to the spoiled brats that have top heavy companies with over paid people....we are heading for the great depression II if we do not get our stuff together and take care of one another... its saturday.... go see how your neighbor is doing.... maybe he has lost his job like so many of americans have and this guy writing this blog... have a great day and keep your chin up and be proud to be american and buy american.... we could trim a lot of fat out of government by reformng the welfare program....it was intended to be a temporary fix for people in need.... we have 4th and 5th GENERATION welfare resiepents out there. Driving better cars then we are and not worried about tomorrow.... cuz it is the same as today and their check is in the mail and their food stamps are too... lets take all the gangs and have them all meet is the largest arena in the world.... give them all guns knives whatever they want.... let them fight it out and the last man standing is the best.... then send him to mexico and see how he does down there... does raising your kids or watching your grandkids grow up scare the hell out of you??? well it should .... cuz who know what this world will be like after we are gone.... the last generation that still knows what respect for our elders and our mother and father means.... they took capital punishment out of the schools so there is NO respect for the teachers. i take my hat off to the people that are teachers they spend more time with our kids then we do and we hope they can mold out kids the best they can be... and are we ever happy? the governmenthas mad made us scared to whip out own kid in our own home for not following our rules. .. ..... they tell us where we can smoke where we can't, who the heck took our nativity sceans off the courthouse lawns.... was our country founded on the basis of religion? can you watch TV anymore without having to watch a male enhancment commercial or some other one you have to explain to our youngsters.... Is there a good new show that makes you laugh.... maybe a couple.. but not like the good old days....how come Oil was $160 a barrel 6 months ago because we used to much oil and had to pay $4+ A GALLON for our gas to go to work at our $8 job. now it is bearly worth $37 and the price of gas was down to $1.25 Gallon and creapng up.... they say cuz we are not using enough...Some Fat Cat got there pockets full.... but we the american people paid for it but also found ways to save money and drive less miles theres one feather in our caps.... we need to find more feathers to stick in there for ourselves and for our fellow Americans
