Help..My Computer Broke Down

My computer broke down..I brought it to Best Buy and they said it is probably a physical problem. But they want $100. just to look at it and up to $1,000. to repair it.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me and my computer....

susansheart839	3/7/2009 10:45:18 AM Dell has sales on computers for much less than what the repair cost will be. You might have a virus that is slowly eating up your hard drive. If that is the case, buy a new hard drive and tell the computer repair people to transfer all uninfected files onto it. If they gave a $1,000 quote, my best guess is that they don't want to take the trouble to fix it. Go get another opinion.
