| At this moment...

At this time I am working to trim off the extra pounds gained this winter at the gym. And now despite the current economy I am fully in production on a short animated film to apply for a job in Brisbane Australia. I recently contacted a old classmate at Calabash Animation studios in Chicago and he was good enough to offer free of charge full access to the camera equipment..He is currently the director of animation there. So by mid may all artwork will be final and camera ready for filming and then I will travel two hours south to Chicago for 4 days and film in about a day and a half. my application for migration should be finalized by then and my plane tickets purchased by the month of June. As it stands it takes 720 drawings to produce 30 seconds of Animation and about 1440 drawings for a minutes worth. my style is a cross between Disney and D.C. Comics with a Japan Amime twist . This is my strong point with a minor in fluffy cute characters. I will post on line examples of my work at the end of this month. So you all my be wondering what I like to do in my spare time. well I love fishing when the weather is good as well as going dancing on weekends. I am not too old to avoid the mosh pit at a alternative rock venue or sit on the side lines if there is a good South American salsa club open. Also I love painting while listening to classical music like Vervaldi . on many a cations I enjoy sci fi and or a good Action or comedy film. And as to my sense of humor I would say my sense of humor is a cross between Cris Rock and Jim Carry. On my best days I Try to refrain form out bursts of verbal sound effects..LoL.. Hey, I am animator..This is usually in context of a conversation or shared social observation when some one else has done some thing odd or made a off comment thus setting them selves up, and then "whoo hoo!" Then every one laughs and spills a drink to two. saying "I was thinking of saying that ..damn thats crazy!"
