never expected this kind of news today
honestly, i don't know what else to say
with tears in my eyes, i will fade away
in the faces of all the people to see
around the corner or behind the tree
with tears in my eyes, i will fade away
never did want to cause you pain
from this experience there will be gain
with tears in my eyes, i will fade away
may take years to figure it all out
but it will come without a doubt
with tears in my eyes, i will fade away
thought you'd always be my friend
all the way until the very end
with tears in my eyes, i will fade away
time for me to leave this place
so i'll put a smile upon my face
with tears in my eyes, i have faded away!
