| Kilt Day 3-28-09

I had a great workout with a 6 mile walk at the mall today. They were having a "Green Day" with vendors sell everything green.....solar panels, power control systems and the like.
I love the comments I get on my kilts and some are not meant for my ears. That was the first one I heard today...... "He's from Scotland" I heard a woman say to a child. He must have asked her why I was wearing a skirt. The next was a woman at one of the booths. She greeted me with a big smile and said "I just love your skirt". I said "thank you but it's a kilt, it's only a skirt if one wears something under it"!
The best part of this "Kilt Day" was at the food court. As part of the event they had a drum band playing. On one of my passes in front of the band the beat was right and I stopped and did an Irish jig for a bit. I got a nod of approval from a lady drummer and continued my walk. A man stopped me and shook my hand, then a young man...... I'd say about 15 asked me if I would do the dance again! I was faking it as I can't dance at all.....LOL.
