| Looked out my window

When I awoke this morning, the sky was steely gray. As I looked out my window, the lawns, trees, rooftops and cars were covered with snow. The streets were tire marked with slush. This is the kind of day that should be during the winter months. It was either snowing or raining, not sleeting, with thunder rumbling overhead. Ahh, spring time in the Rockies. Winter comes in the spring. Can't see the mountains through the clouds. But when it will clear, the mountains will stand majestically shrouded in white. As the mountains look down upon the foothills, the warm sun will melt the snow. The grass will be greener, more flowers will bloom, buds on the trees will pop out and the sky will be blueier. Ahh, spring time in Colorado, as I looked out my window.
