| The Big Bang Theory

Tonight my son was watching Big Bang Theory on TV with me He asked what the title meant and I told him about how there is a belief that the universe was created in an explosion caled the big bang. I said that this was different than what he learns in church. He thought a while and said, "Daddy, I think God made that explosion. It's wrong that we kill animales to eat. I don't think that God wanted us to eat them." Now he is only seven, so I figure he is having some profound thoughts. I think that when I was his age I was probably frying ants with a magnifing glass or blowing bubbles. Here this kid is giving me something to think about. Now he never turns down a hamburger, chicken or a good steak, but he is somehow feeling a guilt for mankinds treatment of animals. It's late so I'm ending this here, but I have more to think about.
