| A Fairy Queen by knightkosd at 4/27/2009 4:44:04 PM

Pan stops piping
No rachus from Bacchus
The Fairy Queen passes by
The Djinn and Marduck
Quiet their throngs
The Fairy Queen passes by
She stops. She speaks. The kelideoscope changes
The Nyads and Driads
Dance about her in praise
The Salamanders and giants
Those of long lived days
She sings. She swells.
Fairy World changes
Zeus and Apollo
Diana and Hera
Watch as the Peac*cks bloom to her tune
Wood-gods, river-gods
Fire-gods and all
Moved to her song she loves them all
A song for the sun, for the moon, for the rain
A song of her own never in vain
Elves rejoice and dance
Dwarven hammers beat time
Fairy flowers bloom from time out of mind
The song finally ends
Silence reigns true
She speaks softly, so soft but all hear:
"My King, my beloved, where are you, my dear?"
The clouds cry with her light drops like the dew
Someday the will find him, her Love shined and new
For now she rules with kindness and grace and always a whistful smile on her face
My Fairy Queen
