Always When I Drive ( my view on life)
by legman4real at 5/6/2009 1:21:54 AM

It's always when I drive, when my mind settles, relaxes, and brings me to reality. The mentality of life being a blessing kicks in, and when you think of all the negativity, disappointment and pain that hits, in benefits, we become wiser and stronger and will have learned a bit.

So it's when I'm driving to work( its night time and its beautiful outside to me!) my mind waunders. I think about my present issues or situations, my future and what I must conquer, what's important in my life (family and priorities), what's gonna make me happy and proud, because only when you're happy is when you can truly make someone else happy. So I'm going about 70-75mph on the freeway in my open lane. It gives me a feeling of going through life freely with nothing stopping me. I just need to make things happen. My mind just gets real with me , always when I drive.

On a more fun side, driving also makes my mind so relaxed at times, that my mood goes straight to HAPPY mode! I just have silly or funny thoughts and might laugh to myself. How about this? I know someone can relate to this: a certain song might come on. You envision yourself dancing somewhere, it then escapes from your mind and you find your body can't resist the rhythm it gives you! Now you're busting a lil move right there in the driver seat !
Im just reminded of the happy soul I know I am. I am thankful for the love, health, talents that have been given to me, to have stayed drug-free, crime-free and all that shit, throughout my life! Oops, not "shit", I mean stuff You all be cool

I can relate with this blog 100%. I often realize that when something is bothering me or I am angry I jump into my car, pop in one of my favorite cd's, and drive for an hour or so and this helps me escapes the trials and tribulations I am currently going through if only for a short time period. We sometimes need escapes in order to be able to handle stressful situations.
