(I never imagined the good, I never imagined the bad
How happy love makes you, and how it makes you so sad)
-its just one big risk-
As a child, I never understood love songs
didnt know what they mean
Why did singers' sing what they sang?
I grew up and experienced the things love brings
Feelings of excitement and emotional pleasure
Internal delightment to extraordinary measures
It's written on your face, people know you're in love
It's crazy how its traced to the one you're thinking of
Just livin' for her smile, her closeness and touch
Those kisses given with passion because she means that much
Her scent, her beauty, her laughter you adore
It's beautiful! When your a** is in love, who could ask for more?
( I never imagined the good, I never imagined the bad
How happy love makes you, and how it makes you so sad)

Always heard about heartbreak, but never knew what it was
Never imagined the pain and how it hurts like it does
The aching and tears that shed when we're going to sleep
Making it clear in our heads we're not too grown to weep
There's no shame, only those with hearts will feel it
Until you're ready, will it heal, and someone starts to fulfill it
Yeah its hard to be strong when love has come and gone
But soon we get the strength to cheer up and move on!
We should see it as a lesson, and not a mistake
But giving your heart away is a risk and the biggest chance we take!
