| To See What I've Seen... by enwright_j420 at 5/25/2009 1:02:10 AM

To see what I've seen with these eyes in a life;
Would be to see hunger, famine and strife.
Yet to believe what I've seen in this life with these eyes;
Would be to see through all of you desparity and lies.
Your face in my mind paints a picture of hate;
We can't chalk this one up to God, we cant blame this on fate.
Whats lost is lost and will remain so forever;
Not in a million years would I have deemed you so clever.
The power you hold over the manipulation of reality;
Has torn out my soul and raped my morality.
There was a time that I remember, when your words held power;
Yet now they grow emptier with each passing hour.
Until like my soul they hold nothing but air;
And all I can do with these eyes is just glare.
