| just how kind are people really? (2 of 2)

I recently read a reply to a post dude was lonely and asked were "she" was, this one "person" had replied several times to this post.
It went from, " you have no pic so your ugly and you just can`t find a pretty girl dumb enough to go out with you",
where buddy made mature replies to her concern, she escalated to
"you are some ugly old fat guy and you have no picture so your cheating on your girlfriend here and your not finding anyone because your hitting on 20- somethings trying to buy them..." and what the hell ever else she said, and I was kinda stunned...
  
I read, reread and read the post again, and there was like,... nothing to build this attack on this hapless sap yet, the level of evil increased ten fold with each reply she made.
So stunned at this, I did something I realised I`d never done, I wanted to see what type of person this chick portrayed herself as on her profile so, I point and click. 
Well... (I have to laugh) it says something to this effect :

Well you can see her replies to the posts she followed, there were over 400 of them... and I am so sorry to say, she wuz one nasty bi*ch, and to that end she had 70 members pick her as a favorite!!!. 
Oh! I can just feel some here now, reaching for the, "you can`t judge everyone over that" card, and well, far be it for me to judge anyone, who the hell am I?... right?...
My friend and I sat and went through a number of posts that had decent people asking decent questions, just to find the biggest assh*le response in each tread and we couldn't... 
Given all the choices and all, we finally gave up. Crushed under the weight of uncouth, irresponsible, antagonistic and inhumane examples of verbal diaria we read
It`s a sad state of affairs how people control their thoughts. And put in this state of anonymity how unaccountable they hold themselves for their actions here in cyberspace. 
If you polled 1000 of these, "negative/off topic" respondents, mostly everyone of them would consider themselves to be just "a wonderful, peachy,just an all out great person" and your left wondering... If there`s any metal to the old saying of "if you don`t have anything nice to say ...."
It was 4.20 a friend dropped in and we chuckled at a date site forum. She left and I got wondering...
If there was some "smart cookie" on one of these sites who could exploit these mean spirited peoples posts, and from separating them create a better way of matching up people?   
Their site could gain noterity for people being made up of genuinely caring, heartfelt people or, ... !!! the alternative?,
