No Excuses, No Regrets, No Appologies

This was the attitude of Brian Kinney (Gale Harold) on Queer as Folk, but the truth is this is also a motto to be lived by.

We need to be more blatantly honest. If we actually tell people what we are thinking without holding back we might offend people, but at least they know where we stand and who we are and what we are. It helps us to promote a more positive self-image.

Our self-image shouldn't be based on rather we weigh 500 pounds or don't like our looks. It should be based on our personality. We need to learn to love ourselves for who and what we are. Those that can do that come out much farther ahead in life than those that can't.

We have all seen that 300 pound bald guy that is dating that 180 pound hottie. It does happen. What does that 300 pound bald dude have that turns that hottie on?

Well, that dude isn't afraid to be who he is. He doesn't have to make a mirror image of himself. He just accepts who he is and doesn't make excuses, doesn't have regrets, and doesn't apologize to anyone. That can be the hottest thing about a person.
