Due to my new membership I wasn't able to post so I will try to put it into a Blog.
I've experienced foster care first hand as a very young child. Although there are many good people out there that mean the best, there are allot of people that do a great deal of harm. Many children that go into foster care, not including babies, have been raised buy very disfunctioal parents and/or child abusers/child molesters. So inconsideration you must realize that many of these children are battling Demons that they will never forget. I don't want to discourage you because I think it's a very Honorable and courageous Ideal. I've found the people that were able to pass through my armor plating were the people that wanted to adopt me because they showed me the most love and compassion. Small children, as you probably know, have a keen sense and are able to detect danger or deceptive feeling. So if you do go into foster care or adoption you must let your heart poor out to them. I hope you do help a child in need because they really need people like you. Viacondiose, jeffreym
