Right now I'm in the process of moving out of my house. June 20 is when the storage containers are being delivered. Hopefully, by the end of this month, construction will begin. I have to move in with my mom (5 min. away from me) for 4 months while they gut this house. My house is a 2floor, 4bedroom that is being converted into a two family. I will have the bottom floor and my daughter's family will have the top floor. Everything will be new and I'm excited since this house is so old...built in 1855.

School ends on 6/23 and I'm hoping, with me home, my mom and I don't drive each other nuts. I love her dearly but two women in the same house after 35 yrs apart?

lotus3	6/7/2009 9:47:22 AM It will be hard, without a doubt, but try and look at it as a wonderful way to spend a lot of time with the woman who has made your life possible. I don't live with my Mom, but I am spending more time with her, then ever before..as woman to woman...and it has given me so many more cherished one on one moments. Good luck....and smell the roses

cissyluv	7/8/2009 7:16:50 AM Thank you all for the comments. I agree. It hasn't been so bad after a few weeks. My mom does her thing and I do mine. I do realize she won't be around forever so I'm trying to appreciate the time we do have together. Also, my grandson lives in the same house, my mom owns a three family and they live upstairs, so I get to see him every day. I still keep going back to my house to clean out more stuff. I'm wondering if I'll ever be done! I'll have to be soon since demolition should be starting before this month ends.
cissyluv	10/4/2009 6:56:15 AM I haven't been here in so long and much has happened. My house is totally gutted and they will begin digging the new foundation for the addition. The city held us up for different reasons...ya, mostly to see how much more money they could suck out of us. Anyway, things are finally moving along and I can't wait to see the next phase. My mom is well and living with her has been good. She's fairly easy going and that helps. I'm not on this site much and if you are someone I use to chat with, feel free to drop me a comment.
