Mother!
The carrier of life, nurturer of souls, imparter of wisdom.
I am Daughter!
Loving, Honored, Respectful, Adored, Cherished
I am Sister!
Friend, Respected, Loyal, Trustworthy, Dependable, a Sista’s sister, a Brotha’s sista.
A Proud Black Woman I am!
I am to be loved, honored, cherished, and revered
I love to be held, caressed, and adored. But seldom feared.
I am the passion in your eyes, the fire that burns in the bottom of your heart.
I am the sweet whisper that caresses your ear.
My essence intoxicates your nose.
I am that woman you can’t speak about.
The one that captivates your brain.
I am Woman, more woman most will ever know.
My mind flows like the mighty Colorado.
My ways are as deep as the ocean.
Greatness is within me!
A Strong Black Woman I am!
I am the Igniting of the flame, passer of the torch.
I am as powerful as a hurricane, more gentle than a spring breeze.
My thoughts sore into the skies, seeking new stars.
I am more beautiful than the setting sun, across an open sea.
