| The Suns Betrayal

After endless weeks of grey rainy days I am feeling betrayed by the Sun. The way he teases me just enough to give me hopes of blue skies and basking in his warmth. No sooner does he show his face, he quickly runs and hides behind grey skies and rain clouds. (the cheating bastard!) But three nights ago to add insult to injury he pummeled my little garden with hail. Having been a Sun worshipper my whole life I now feel like a jilted lover. And would you believe it just two nights ago my Womens Wednesday night get together appears to have been canceled due to symptoms of menopause and seasonal affect disorder. This sort of thing should only happen in February! I know he should not be forgiven his treachery but I also know if only he would shine on me again I would find it in my heart to forgive him and welcome back his warm embrace. I can not however, speak for my rhododendren, she looks really pissed.
