| Just A Penny

How many times have you walked passed a penny on the ground? Thinking to yourself it's dirty, scuffed up...lost all it's shine...and after all...it's just a penny! Nothing much of monetary value...it's just a penny.God showed me that we do the same with people. How many times have we walked passed someone who has been discarded by life...someone who is dirty or scuffed up by life and lost all their shine. After all that person may not be up to "our standards"...they're just a nobody. They may have been scuffed up,let down by life or tossed aside by family and friends....not much value....they're just a "penny". God showed me that we are all "a penny" at sometime in our lives..but He still picks us up. He cleans us up and returns our shine...gives us back our value. Next time you see a "penny", smile...tell them hello...hug them...let them know they are of value and shine in your eyes! If we collect enough "pennies" we will abound in riches beyond our own understanding.
