| What's up w/ N. Korea?

Talk about WMDs, why doesn't the USA kick some a** in N. Korea? Oh, ohh. I forgot. No oil there. Instead of using herbicides to whither the root of this problem, our government is asking, no, receiving megabucks from Japan to juice-up their anti-missile defense force. My take on this is that if the Japanese can thwart any missiles launched from N. Korea, we, the USA, will be saved from nuclear bombs, or worse, from pamphlets promoting communism. Fall-out be damned. OK, I know that we owe Japan a s*#t-load of Krugerrands, but is this merely a diplomatic ploy or a financial one? China's right there but enforces ultra-strict (lethal) edicts against NK defectors. (Wait a minute, why doesn't the US build a fence to 'protect' its inhabitants from defectors of other foreign countries?)
