| Why men in their late 40's play games?

When your seeing someone for about a month, and he tells you this, and he tells you that, how do you know what he has told you is true? he's been to your home, he's met some of your family members, you have not one thing to go on that he has told you the truth.
You haven't ever been to his home, let alone meet someone he knows, but all and all my question is, why would a man of the age 48 be so secretive? isn't that a form of game playing? i mean he didn't have to go deep personal on me,but you would feel better inside if you knew something about him..... Wouldn't you?
