Cameo Memories
by atlgarn2 at 7/26/2009 7:27:02 PM

It seems that I have times where specific memories come and go as if I were looking through a photo album. Words aren't necessary, just the pictures. My, how those pictures can conjure up so many other inter-related memories. Sometimes some of the "cameos" of my mind lead to memories that may have nothing at all to do with the original thought in my mind's eye. Whether it leads to good or not so good memories doesn't matter. It still leads to thoughts of days, times and people past.

I think I'll keep this album of cameo appearances and relive those times when I feel the need to have that moment or that person close to me. My heart and my mind will go on loving and living those memories. I think I have room in my heart and in my mind to create an album of newer cameos in the days and years to come. In fact, I look forward to it.

Vicki, those remembering days are wonderful, until the memory brings you to the present. I try to not do too many of those. Our future is still to come and I wish you many cameo memories and picture albums full of visions. Thank you for sharing. I have no doubt about the room in your heart.

Vicki, I've never been very good taking pictures and saving them to go through. I think I have plenty of Steve when he was growing up. You bring up an interesting point. My mind has pictures stored of memories that could never have been captured in a photo. I don't have to go looking for them, they're right here when I need or want them. And thankfully, I'm still recording..

Also smells and sounds trigger the recall response. Isn't it strange how the brain works! Heres to new photos....
