Ha! It seems to take some sleuthing to navigate this site but perhaps this blogging business is supposed to be the way to stay in contact.
First, thank you for those of you who attempted to contact me. I am afraid I have been lax with keeping up with the site. Add to the mix my unfamiliarity with such and there you have it.
Plus, I truly have been kinda busy. The dog brought me a dead or dying possum recently. I didn't think I had a recipe for such but did find one for armadillo AND possum. It says to cut the first away from the shell. The one for cooked possum says that one really should feed it milk and cookies (oops...milk and cereals) for 10 days before dispatching it.
Now I ask you, is it really reasonable to expect me to kill something I have fed oreos or a Happy Meal to for over a week? I think not.
My army of ants have bivouaced ...hmmm...bivuacked (rats!).. BIVOUACKED (Take that, Spellcheck, Webster's is still king!) elsewhere for the non. Either that or they are undercover or have discovered a leaking spigot somewhere. Thanks to all who offered the loan of the size 14 cowboy boots.
Time for a trip back to the homefolks so an appt. for servicing my car is underway. It is truly a pleasure to work with my father and son mechanics. They look after me quite well and even give me a lift home when I haven't shaved my legs. Turn about is fair play so I just open up my wallet and place it on the table.
