Relationships are not easy. They are work. It doesn't matter whether it is a friendship with the opposite sex or the same sex, it's work. You have to work to get to know someone. You have to work to earn that other person's trust. It's not an instantaneous thing.
I guess we have this fast food mentality where we want everything right now. We do that with relationships and if anyone who is divorced would admit, that is what caused them to meet the wrong man or woman with the relationship ending in divorce. That is what I did and that has caused a lot of pain. Whenever I have been in the singles chat rooms and I saw women make statements about how they want to get into a relationship right now. All I am saying is to be careful so that you don't get your heart broken. I know that right now I am not in too much in danger of that but for those of you who are dating I advise for you to guard your heart.
