I have a black gal friend who is one of the best persons who can talk to me and she says that she is more "white" than black, thinks more "white" than black. She was married to a black guy for years but never loved him. She ended up with her high school love...a white guy. I dont know what the answer is . I am with most of you on this issue. I feel like if we are attracted to someone of another race, fine. however, i never have really been. and I think it is because I was raised that way. I think its how we have been programmed.

If by chance you grew up in a predominantly white area you would probably date white girls. Thats not to say that some guys wouldn't make a point to date black women who as to that point had been socially unavailable to them. Why do Black men go for The fat white women. Most of The white women I see in the south with black men are so disgusting looking or brain dead due to substance abuse. I am a sista and I only date black men because that is what I am attracted to, I love the style, the dark skin of a black man and the walk that no other man has. AFDC should have helped the whole family out. A lot of men ended up with insecure, jumpy, and angry mothers giving them hell, because a good firm, steady man was not around to help raise them. So you have some black men with chips on their shoulders and arrogant attitudes because pops wasn't there to help them stay grounded in reality. It's just your general broken family syndrome of the working classes. I suppose it may explain some of the interracial dating.

The Manchurian Candidate is not just a movie. Look at Britney Spears' freakouts. Whenever she wants to get away from her handlers she ends up in some embarrassing situation. Too many musicians die young. It is as if they are meant to flame out young in order to increase record sales. Look at the number of Hip Hop rappers that in disproportionate numbers get shot. It reminds me of the large number of microbiologists that in certain areas of sensitive research end up dead. What are the odds?

Not all white women are the same and neither are black women.So the stereotypical profile is just that.My brother dates a black woman and I have dated black men.Our choice.I date black men because that's what I was attracted to at the time.That's not saying I won't date white men.But my prefernce is a man who will accept me for me.
