Today I was thinking about life and how good and bad it can be at times. Why we have to experience bad times, why the good can seem so distant during the bad, and why the bad can seem so distant during the good. It's like we wear blinders to block out the opposite of what ever we are feeling at the time, especially when we are in love. We can't imagine anything bad happening. But when bad things do happen you can't believe you didn't see it coming a mile away. I am a firm believer that love is the key to why we are here. No greater or worse feeling than those involving love. No rhyme or reason to how or who we fall in love with. Sure there are things that attract us to one another, but you can be attracted to someone but not be in love with them. It's that magical combination of who knows what that makes us fall madly and deeply in love. Who knows what it is that makes us fall out of love. You can look at specific events that make you think well maybe that was it, but you can't say for sure. We as humans are too complex for even ourselves to understand. We can only hope and have faith that life has more good moments than bad and that our lives are filled with love. I really do believe that love is why we are here. We need to experience love and cherish those loved ones and keep them close to our hearts. Love them like there is no tomorrow and if your love with someone should end don't be afraid to open your heart to others. A closed heart hurts more than a broken one. Thats just my opinion.
