| Bait hook, Cast line, & Sink ???

This is so crazy. Dating online is like fishing in a lake or the sea. You never know what is on the end of your line.....In the past when I lived in the south and went crabbing. I would tie chicken necks into a crab snare and lower it into the water. Sooner or later I would pull it up and guess what? Yeah buddy, I would have crabs all over the place.... Well, I'm comparing this event with online dating. When a person first enters a profile; boy oh boy do you get lots of bites. But after awhile when things calm down a person has to think......... Such a bass fishermen do. They carefully pick the type of bait to throw out, and of course the location is very important.---- While fishing my personal favorits are; plastic worms, colors are moter oil, raspberry with white tail and fire & ice, sometimes I will use a jitter bug or a hulla popper..........My point with this whole thing is. I'm up a creek without a paddle. I'm not sure who or what to expect with online dates....I don't know where to through my bait; what kind, what location, or what to do after I get one (online)..........AND THEN what and how do I handle the event without getting hurt or hurting the other person. You know the old story fellas (catch and release). But I'm not doing this dating as a sport thing. I don't want a trophy item and cast it away. I want a keeper.
