Crutches for Christmas
by michael1961 at 12/8/2007 8:00:05 AM

It seems like some times you can’t win for losing. Back in September I was planning A good
Christmas for my son, and then I broke my leg off the job and now I am still on crutches. As it goes I am one of the ones that thought I had plenty of time to get some insurance. The company I worked for didn’t offer any thru the company, so I had to look elsewhere. And of course, my financial situation didn’t have any room for high-priced health or hospital insurance.
Let me tell ya people. When you are down and out. You are down and out, period.
There are a few programs out there that can help you, but you just about have to be homeless, or half
Dead.
The department of Human Resources can help with the grocery bill, with a food stamp card. They also have a form you can fill out for some temporary Medicaid. You can forget about SSI (Social Security Income) unless you are disabled for a year or more. The bottom line is, if you don’t have insurance, you are f*%#ed!
But hey, I’m not gona sit around on the pity pot and whine. I get my ass up everyday, and probe, ponder, read, and surf the web, for anything I can do to make some money. I have found a couple of programs that do actually work, and are cheap. One of these programs you can either pay a small fee (about the price of a dinner for two at the restaurant) or if you know three people you can recommend, you can get started. Its really easy to do, and you can start making money immediately.

The other is about the same cost.

I am still searching for other programs out there to try out, so if any of ya’ll out there have any idea’s, give me a holler. Maybe I can afford a new pair of crutches for Christmas.
