| The Unexpected

Last week I got an unexpected call from my doctor. I had a partial hysterectomy in May and she said they had just reached a concensus on the pathology report. I have cancer. The cancer was evidently found in the mass that they took off of my left ovary. It's barely even readable, but it is cancer.
So, now I will have another major surgery to remove the rest of my reproductive organs. This time they will actually cut into me so they can "have a look around" and make sure the cancer hasn't spread. BUT, the really good news is they caught it really early AND if all goes well with the surgery, I probably won't even need chemotherapy! Woo Hoo! That really is a blessing and I'm so glad they caught it so early!
I did pick up a catalog with different style & colored hats just in case......... AND it even have pictures of wigs I can buy if needed. Hmmmm. I've always threatened to shave my head a wear a wig, and now it seems there may be the remotest possibility that I will get my wish! 
What do I need? I need a few friends on DH to talk to when I can't sleep at night. Sooooo, if your on here, please feel free to drop me a line! I'd love to chat!
