happiest when on a plane for 24 hours, I am an emergency physician and thus thrive on the unexpected, extreme. Enjoy interacting with other cultures, dancing, zumba classes, languages
I am bi-cultural in Italian, and Spanish, having lived in Spain, Italy and Mexico for seven years. I also speak Portuguese at intermediate level. This linguistic-cultural background has been greatly useful in the practice of Medicine given the cultural heterogeneity of the United States. I am also an avid skier.
I have spent over eight years living and traveling throughout the world and this experience has greatly influenced my cultural development. I have gone on camel safari into the Thar desert of Western India and safari and Kenya, trekked to Everest in Nepal and Tibet, and in Huascaran National Park in Peru, traveled the Friendship Highway from Lhasa to Kathmandu, mountain biked on Cotopaxi in Ecuador, ferried down the Irawaddy in Myanmar, and traveled extensively throughout South East Asia, the Middle East, South America, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, and nearly every country in Europe
