| My Story - Greg Masley aka dj RoxyMuzick

I am a single father who grew up in Southern California and moved to Colorado Springs at the beginning of 2003 following my daughters and am now moving back home. I am very much into music, I collect, write, dance and go to concerts.RoxyMuzick on Yahoo, AIM, MSN. I am a dual certified CNE,MCSE,CNA. I work on company computer networks designing, building and repairing them at my computer consulting company MasleyAssociates.com I have an 10 year old daughter(Tatiana) and a 9 year old daughter(Paulina) My story and where I'm at: I'm a single father, IT Manager, Network Engineer, Network Administrator I now run my own computer consulting company in Colorado Springs. I moved here three years ago following my daughters and their mother from our lifelong home of Southern California to be near them. I bought my own large new house as close as i could get to my beautiful, special Amerasian daughters Tatiana who is now 10 and Paulina who in seven days will be 9. Flashback: An immersed product of the 80's I grew up on and totally in Love with 80's, Goth and Industrial Alternative Music. I was a staple in the Alternative LA Club Scene, had my own band Corporate Intrigue, was in the movies "Moving Violations" and "Sex, Death and Eyeliner" modelled for hair and fashion shows, met a lot of famous people, had wild times and the best times of my life some of which I will never ever forget. I can't tell you how wonderful it felt unless you were there you will never know or understand but it was such a wonderful and exciting time. I've been married once and engaged four times, had two beautiful daughters who are my world and moved from my lifelong home of Southern California/Los Angeles to Colorado Springs twice following my daughters to be with them because they are my world. The present: Since then I have been making things work as much as I possibly can while retaining the things in life which give me great joy and pleasure: My daughters, My Career and My love of alternative music, dancing, clubbing, concerts and the feeling I get when the DJ plays a song I absolutely love and I take the dancefloor and for a few minutes I am transported back to a time that made me so happy. I own a beautiful, brand new home in Ridgeview Stetson Hills two streets away from my daughters so I can see them as much as possible and be a part of their lives. But it hasn't been without sacrifice, my ex wife(and mother of my daughters) who I was her second marriage, broke up twice with her third husband the first time we moved back from Colorado Springs to Huntington Beach California and I again followed them and just two weeks later her third husband talked her into coming back so I moved back with them to Colorado Springs. Most recently she announced she was divorcing her third husband and buying another house here in Colorado Springs and staying and that was sad for me because I hoped she would have chosen for us to go back home to Los Angeles. I have been in films and want to get back into it, I have DJ'd and ran and managed my own dance clubs including Eroxa Denver and want to get back into it. I write music and have been in bands including Corporate Intrigue and want to get back into it. As far as dating goes it's been a hard learning experience for me personally. The truth is I don't see much love left anymore in the present world and I'm talking about real Love not selfish or self indulgent Love. Nobody seems to truly care about anybody else anymore, only themselves and that leads to disappointment, and discouragement. We're all just lost souls out here doing the best we can and I wish everybody else luck in reaching and attaining their dreams. At the end of it if one person who knew me gets up at my funeral and says "Greg loved his daughters, loved music and had a full life and made lots of friends" I will be happy. I am a lucky guy for so many reasons that sometimes when I think about how fortunate I am I am rendered speechless. I am always up for meeting new and interesting people. I look forward to meeting you and anybody else new and interesting and just like the feelings of spending time with my daughters or a new friend and new adventures or being out on a dancefloor when the right song hits. I am touched by the things in life that really matter like a smile on a child's face, single mothers, a girl taking care of a disabled family member, Love in all it's forms, a song from the heart and anybody who ever stood up for something.
