Back To Blog Entries Got my knee scoped today..WTF by crabberman at 9/2/2009 7:39:33 PM I got my left knee scoped today ..I have a meniscus tear and a cracked knee cap which has been causing me lots of pain ever since I had to wear that walking boot from my foot surgery in January.Doc told me it will be a peice of cake and be back on my feet in a few days..just have to watch squatting and lifting heavy objects.Well I came home feeling ok..a little sore and my knee in an ace wrap like the Mummy.Ever since around noon I have been in lots of pain.I have been eating my Percs like Obama eating Ju-Ju beans...lol..They didnt put me out like I wanted in the surgery center..instead like 5 local needles around and in my knee and a sedative that mostly put me out..if not all the way asleep.I am sure some of my pain is from those goddamn needles and when they call me for a check up in the morning I probably wont be the most pleasant patient.. I always thought I dealt with pain ok..seems like I always have something cut scraped bruised or broken..but this shit hurts..plus I have a lower back strain from last Thursday thats still buggin me.I know I can be a big whiner at times..but its times like this I wish I had someone to lean on and be close to.But its good to have close freinds too.. My bro has had a total of 8 surgeries on his knees (5 on one and 3 on the other). The pain is because it has been freshly done and will fade as time goes by. I hope it goes by quickly for you. crabberman 9/7/2009 8:29:35 PM well..its been almost 6 days..knee feels much better..maybe even better then before surgery..well I know it is..because they at least drained my knee and shot it again..so that relieved alot of the pain..now just have to see how it heals and feels the next 2 weeks..I am going back to work on Wednesday..so hopefully it feels good..thanks everyone for the kind words.. beachingirl 9/9/2009 9:07:23 AM Hopefully you made it through your first day back to work relatively pain-free.....
