| grudge match.....

getting ready for a drag race on the 9-18-09, going to settle a grudge with a good friend of mine, here's the history: we raced last year he was driving his 73 chevelle and I was driving my 64 Chevy truck, late that night we went out to pick up a movie and some food, his brother rode with me and his girlfriend rode with him. on the way back there is a place on the road which is a 4 lane at a light, and as luck would have it the light was red when we got there, looking around it was late there were no other cars on the road it was safe to do what we were going to do. Now at this we were ready to go, just waiting on green, I messed up (not going to lie here) I did not put the truck in first gear (its a manual on the column)the light turns green he takes off I slam the transmission in first and go after him. I catch him by third gear and then pass him just before the race is over. we get back to his house he wants to know what happened he claims when he saw me bog off the line he let off, this is where the controversy begins me and his brother never heard his exhaust die out as if he let off, and he still claims that he didn't lose that night.... so if he is ready on the 18th were going to put this to rest.... we are preparing now.
P.S. we are allot smarter now we don't race on the street anymore we do it on the track where it is legal!!!
