First things First, I am a straight shooter so I will give you the bad 1st. I am separated since April 1st and the divorce paperwork has been filed. There is no Drama and no children between her and I.
I was crushed, but am very much over it now. I just seem to wear my heart on my sleeve. My life has gotten much more simple since the 1st of the year. I have learned that there is a big difference between alone, and lonely. Just incase you wonder, I can do alone with no problem. It's not until I fall for someone and they grow distant that I feel lonley.
Now lonely, I can only do for so long....
OK, now that is out of the way, you can see I am very honest, I will always tell you the truth. For that I hope you can respect me for it more and maybe judge me a little less.
OK now on to the good stuff. LOL My dream gal is a morning person, with a full time career and weekends off.
She loves to sing and listen to Classic Rock 70’s & 80’s, reggae, jazz, and country music. She is not a religious fanatic, but has no problem dragging my butt to church on Sundays.
She loves to enjoy the back yard and sit around a fire on the patio, eating off the grill, and have a good time in the pool. She is socially outgoing but prefers small personal groups of family, a few friends, or us being alone, rather than the large party crowd.
She loves the water and likes to accompany me to any riverbank or waterfront, where we break out the cooler, and crank up Van Zant, Skynard, or 38 special, and pretty much any country music. We can dance and act a fool or hold hands and kiss.
She has a creative or artistic side to her and maybe even loves the occasional play, art gallery, or museum. She has a flair for interior decor, and loves to have candlelight all over the house at night and likes to play jazz music in the evening to relax us after work while we eat, bathe, and get ready for bed. She looks good in her jeans and her dresses, but usually likes to dress more comfortable at home, like in pajamas or something similar.
She does not have to love the NFL, but likes to curl up on the couch with me after church on Sundays when my team plays. She loves me for who I am and for the person she can help me to become. She has the room in her life for us to be best friends and prefers to be together.
I have no family here and no personal friends other than my 17 yr old son and my 19 yr old nephew. They are growing up fast and have one foot out the door already.
Maybe then I would be able to travel and take some vacations. If she matches my income, we could even take some pretty exotic vacations. "Hey baby, what do ya think about taking off in early November and let’s go to an island?" I can defiantly go Kenny Chesney style with island music, beaches, and sand! Whoa yea!
Meanwhile, at the present, she is willing to be friends and take our time sorting out life a bit. She is not bothered by that and does not judge me.
I am honestly not in a big hurry to win the girl, jump in bed, and end the game, because this is not a game. It seems to me that is what everyone expects anymore.
I want to build something special with someone who thinks the world of me. I’m getting too old to keep going from relationship to relationship. I am just as scared of running in too fast and making a big mistake as anyone. But nothing ventured, nothing gained Right?
I am outwardly very shy at first. I have been told more than once that if someone didn’t beat me over the head and drag me home by the foot, I would never have had a relationship in the first place. But I promise I get more comfortable as time goes on. Once I warm up LOOK out.
On the outside I’m pretty much a Dork. I work a pretty demanding schedule during the week. Most evenings I just come home and Vegg out to History or Discovery channels on the couch, or I might sit on the deck with my kids, or get in the pool for a bit before we grill supper. I am usually looking for my bed around 9 PM.
On the weekends I usually work around the house doing remodeling projects. I go to church every Sunday, well almost. I am not a saint, just a regular guy. I pout or have my moods, (Like most guys), but can usually be easily loved out of them and accept my baby back into my good graces.
I take on line courses for my BA-OSM. I like fruit, and small meals. I have great hygiene. Geees I have no idea what else to say, if you like what you read or want to know more e-mail me and I will try to tell you what you want to know. The worst thing you’ll get is a free dinner. LOL….
