| Mid Life Celebration

I'll be back again and again until there is no breath in me. . .
Fortunately, I was raised with the help of an optimist ( thanx, Mom ), a military officer ( Yes, Sir), and mah two big brothers (Do it this way...). Many experiences follow the average person. It's up to me to decide every morning to be positive. Yeah, sure I can get down too, and honesty brings me back to center. Not a deeply 'religious' type, am spiritual and have faith. I do believe, I believe! Not a bible thumper, and yet the axioms and Truths found in many philosophies make sense. I am grateful that I AM NOT the judge of it ALL...
I won't talk politics on here, don't need the high blood pressure. You can ask me my stand, yet be ready for the TRUTH as I see it... hey you asked...
I love America. Period. I actually don't care if I ever leave her borders again.
Was raised semi- gypsy as an Officer's Brat, still am a homebody prone to wanderlust/travel. Short excursions are OK for now. Very comforting to have a home, grounded so to speak. Artistic nature, very comfortable in my own skin ( literally and figuratively ), love exercise ( yes, I'm very sick I know ), anything outdoors ( enjoy rain = why is rain depressing? ) dogs; even cats, kids, fiction, epic movies, chick flicks ( please don't repeat that ), riding my HONDA ( gee, it's not a HD? and your point?), light social drinking, DANCING ( for pure pleasure ), dark nights with lots of stars and a few clouds, camping, fishing, writing, and of course cooking which translates= eating! Some NFL, yet not a fanatic.
I really attempt to achieve balance and moderation in life ( so I won't lose what's left of my mind ! ) Not prone to judge ( except crappy vehicle operators ), have a sensual, loving side to me, and will be honest with people, can be reserved and am also an occasional extrovert. I love plain old me, costumes, fire, water, heaven and love to raise hell ( sometimes !). So if opposites attract, maybe that's why I like me. I am not the perfect guy, prone to pick my nose or belch, which translates I am normal.
Some of my favorite actors include ; Robin Williams, Clint Eastwood, Bacall, Bogart, Streep, Pacino, DeNiro, and Bugs Bunny. This should tell you something about me.
I am extremely influenced by the Love Story of my mom's parents. I have known love and DO believe in love. I believe that is one of the main reasons WHY we are here on earth. I just can't believe in reincarnation or evolution, because it 'seems' that our human condition is worsening globally. We seem to be better at killing than ever before. . .
The point of this blog is to say; enjoy/ celebrate LIFE. We have it NOW, such a powerful place to dwell in; NOW. Be Present would have to be my motivator, not cash, not fame not even finding the perfect relationship/ person. Does the perfect person for each person exist? I think so... Does that mean then that I have to be perfect? No, that I don't believe at all.
I've watched others try to be perfect. I just can't do it. I will let the dishes sit if you want or wash em. I don't really care how you roll the toothpaste tube ! Don't sweat the small stuff, and mostly it's ALL small stuff...
I would love to find one woman to celebrate this life with. . . barefoot or glass slippers, I would love you, respect you.
ps. Seems the "Dancing Banana" is a hit with ALL of the peeps that left a comment, and I like it as well. . What does that mean?
