| The train ride

It occurs to me that life can be somewhat like a train ride .......you might not always have the control you think you do. 
Enjoying the scenery is paramount  because you won't pass this way again. Notice the amazing moments as they will tide you over when the trip is slower, quieter, calmer, and you need a little buzz. 
Depending on the terrain, you can sometimes see ahead as the train rounds a bend, or you can turn around and see where you have been.  Most of the time, however, you are compelled to keep your eyes on what is happening right now. It has been written by others: Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, and today is a gift we give to ourselves - that is why it is called the present.
I like that. I like presents!!!!
